About this service

A false ceiling is most useful when it is planned with the lighting. We mark fan points, spotlights, cove lines and AC positions on the ceiling plan before framing begins, so the electrician and ceiling team work from the same drawing. Ceiling height, room size and beam positions decide how deep the drop should be — we keep it as shallow as practical so the room does not feel lower.

Common questions

Will a false ceiling make my room look smaller?

Not if it is planned carefully. We keep the drop minimal and often use a perimeter design that leaves the centre at full height.
